ASAŞ Highlights Integrated Production Strength and Sustainable Solutions at IAA Mobility 2025

ASAŞ, one of Turkey's leading industrial companies, stood out as a notable participant at the IAA Mobility 2025 fair held in Munich, Germany, with its broad product range for the automotive sector, strong manufacturing capabilities and sustainable solutions.

ASAŞ, which showcased electric vehicle batteries, crash components, body and chassis profiles as well as safety element profiles, attracted intense visitor interest with its large-scale profile production capacity, advanced mechanical processing capabilities and customer-focused special project development expertise.

Large-Scale Profiles with 150MN Extrusion Press
ASAŞ's 150MN extrusion press delivers critical solutions for aluminium rail car production, aviation, automotive and energy sectors. Through this investment, ASAŞ is able to produce large cross-section profiles in single pieces up to 650 mm diameter, 900 mm width and 30 metres in length. The press's seamless pipe production capability also opens new design and manufacturing opportunities for customers.

World's First 45MN Hybrex Extrusion Press
ASAŞ has added to its production capacity the 45MN Hybrex extrusion press with 4500 tonnes force, used for the first time globally. Developed specifically for ASAŞ, this line delivers energy savings of up to 50 per cent, contributing to the prevention of approximately 530 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.

Equipped with automation solutions, the line incorporates advanced technologies from the billet magazine through to automatic ageing furnaces and plays an important role in high-strength alloy production. With these features, Hybrex supports environmental sustainability while delivering more efficient and environmentally friendly production processes to customers.

NexAL: Low Carbon Footprint
Another innovation reflecting ASAŞ's sustainability vision on display at the fair was NexAL. Reducing carbon footprint to ≤ 4 tCO2e/tAl levels, NexAL is produced using low-carbon raw materials, high-percentage recycled aluminium and IREC-certified renewable energy. In this way, it contributes to customers' low-emission and energy efficiency targets.
