Greenkote Uses Corrosion-Resistant Coatings in Natural Gas Processing Plant Construction

Greenkote PLC, a global supplier of high-performance corrosion-preventive metal coatings, has announced that its Chinese licensee has secured a major contract to supply 1,200 tonnes of coated hexagon bolts for the construction of the Amur Gas Processing Plant (AGPP) in the Amur region of Siberia. When completed, AGPP will be the world's second-largest facility of its kind, designed to process 42 billion cubic meters of gas per year. Mark Gore, Chief Executive Officer of Greenkote, commented on the matter as follows: "There were six competing suppliers and the performance specifications for the coatings were extremely stringent. Due to Siberia's quite challenging environment, the customer specified an unusually thick coating as well as the requirement to pass a 1,000-hour salt spray test. Shanghai Premier did an excellent job!"
