'Future Scientists Camp'

Future Scientists Camp Managed by the Novo Nordisk Foundation and focused since 1923 on improving the lives of individuals living with serious chronic diseases such as diabetes, obesity and rare diseases through a sustainable approach, the Copenhagen-based global health company Novo Nordisk is planning numerous events as part of the company's 100th anniversary next year. As part of these events, the company will host 100 high school students from different countries around the world at the "Future Scientists Camp" in Denmark in August 2023. Expressing enthusiasm about inspiring young people in their scientific journey, Novo Nordisk Turkey Vice President and General Manager Jens Pii Olesen made the following comments on the matter: "For a sustainable world and healthy societies, we attach importance to being a source of inspiration today for the next generation of scientists. We are very excited that through the 'Future Scientists Camp' we will be able to provide young people selected from Turkey with the opportunity to develop themselves in scientific subjects, network with young people from different countries, and share learning and perspectives."
Applications until end of November 2022
The first "Future Scientists Camp", to be held in cooperation with the LIFE Foundation, which conducts scientific work for young people within the Novo Nordisk Foundation, and Novo Nordisk, will take place in the second week of August 2023 in Copenhagen, Denmark. For one week, 100 students from around the world will come together to explore topics such as health, sustainability and cutting-edge science, particularly with a focus on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) education. To apply for the summer camp, applicants must be 15 or 16 years old, have a curious mindset with great interest in science, and have a good command of English. Applications can be submitted until the end of November 2022 through Novo Nordisk's global website.
