GEBKİM Foundation Continues Supporting Students GEBKİM Chemistry Specialised OSB and GEBKİM Foundation, which implement pioneering projects in Kocaeli's broad chemistry ecosystem where the heart of Turkish industry and exports beats, are investing in Kocaeli's future through the support they provide to education from kindergarten to secondary school. GEBKİM Foundation, which brought GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, one of the exemplary schools with modern educational vision and infrastructure, and GEBKİM Kindergarten, which prepares children for life in a loving environment, to Dilovası, has long been the greatest supporter of National Chess Player Işık Can, whose international successes make us proud. GEBKİM, advancing the projects that add value to Kocaeli and Dilovası each year further, recently hosted the "Meeting Dilovası's Stars" event, organised for the second time this year by Dilovası District Governorate. At the ceremony held, 120 students who achieved significant success in academic, artistic and sporting fields in Dilovası District were awarded. GEBKİM provided sponsorship support to the "Meeting Dilovası's Stars" programme, organised for the second time this year by Dilovası District Governorate with the aim of rewarding students who demonstrated significant success in academic, artistic and sporting fields and encouraging them toward new achievements. The event held at GEBKİM OSB Conference Hall was attended by Dilovası District Governor Dr. Metin Kubilay, Dilovası Mayor Hamza Şayir, Dilovası District National Education Director Murat Balay, District Sports Director Murat Babaoğlu, GEBKİM Chemistry Specialised OSB and GEBKİM Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı, school principals, administrators and students. The event was coloured by Polisan Secondary School's folk dances performance and musical performances by schools, while ENKA Schools' technological work and robots built by students were displayed. At the ceremony, awards were presented to 120 students, the pride of Dilovası with their achievements in academic, artistic and sporting fields, by Dilovası District Governor Dr. Metin Kubilay and participants. GEBKİM Chemistry Specialised OSB and GEBKİM Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı noted that the project implemented by Dilovası District Governorate to award and encourage successful youth makes important contributions to the development of Dilovası's education, art, culture and sports life. Aracı, expressing that they are pleased to host the "Meeting Dilovası's Stars" programme as GEBKİM and to support this valuable project, congratulated all students who deserved awards through their achievements. National chess player Işık Can, who has packed many national and international achievements into his career despite his young age, is one of these names.
