GEBKİM Sets Example with MTAL Education Vision

Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz conducted an inspection of GEBKİM MTAL during his visit to Dilovası District. He received information about the school and its work from GEBKİM Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı, Board Members, and GEBKİM MTAL School Principal Hakan Çelik. The model school that GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation brought to Kocaeli also earned top marks from Governor Yavuz. School-industry cooperation is exemplified at GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School, which features 20 classrooms and 12 laboratories, including 8 chemistry labs and 4 industrial automation labs. Beyond quality education, the school invests in students' social and cultural development by providing spaces for music, arts and sports activities. GEBKİM MTAL also houses an Application and Pilot Production Facility that will offer students the opportunity to engage in small-scale manufacturing and gain practical experience. Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz conducted inspections at GEBKİM Vocational and Technical Anatolian High School during his visit to Dilovası District. During the visit, which was also attended by Dilovası District Governor Mustafa Asım Alkan, Dilovası Mayor Hamza Şayir and Kocaeli Provincial National Education Director Fehmi Rasim Çelik, GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı, GEBKİM Foundation Board Members and GEBKİM MTAL School Principal Hakan Çelik accompanied the delegation and provided information about the school.

Governor Yavuz first toured the Application and Pilot Production Facility established by GEBKİM Foundation over approximately 1,200 square meters of enclosed space. Expressing his appreciation for the facility, Governor Seddar Yavuz then spent time conversing with students in the school's workshops and laboratories.

Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz told the students, who expressed their affection for their school and their happiness at being GEBKİM MTAL students, "We have great confidence in you; our future is in your hands." He then conducted a detailed inspection of the GEBKİM MTAL school building, classrooms, English Street and cafeteria, and gathered information about the work being conducted at the school. During his visit, Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz thanked GEBKİM Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı and Board Members for bringing GEBKİM MTAL, which he described as "a model school," to education. GEBKİM Education, Research and Health Foundation Board Chairman Vefa İbrahim Aracı expressed his satisfaction with Governor Seddar Yavuz's visit and stated that GEBKİM Chemical Specialised Organized Industrial Zone and GEBKİM Foundation would continue their support for education going forward. Following their inspection of GEBKİM MTAL, Kocaeli Governor Seddar Yavuz and his accompanying delegation, including Dilovası District Governor Mustafa Asım Alkan, Dilovası Mayor Hamza Şayir and Kocaeli Provincial National Education Director Fehmi Rasim Çelik, also conducted inspections at the Kindergarten construction project carried out by GEBKİM Foundation.
