Global Expansion in Photoinitiator Production

IGM is committed to investing in photoinitiator capacity and process improvements to provide benefits and support to its customers. Due to increasing global demand for its business and efforts to bring innovative new products to emerging markets, IGM announced that it has begun developing a new, state-of-the-art photoinitiator production facility in Anqing, China. The new facility will have finished product capacity of over ten thousand tonnes and will include backward integration into basic starting materials. The site will also include a new pilot facility and flexible scaling production capacity to facilitate the introduction of new photoinitiators developed to support key market trends, including LED curing, low migration and water-based UV technology. Further expanding its global presence, IGM also announced two major capacity expansion projects in Mortara, Italy, which will increase photoinitiator production capacity by 25% to ensure best customer satisfaction. In addition to IGM's existing facility in Haimen and capacity increase in Mortara, Italy, the new photoinitiator production facility in Anqing will enable IGM to meet increasing global demand for high-quality photoinitiator products and successfully develop and launch new products.
