Forte Teknoloji Makes New Strategic Move in Defense Industry

Since 2006, Forte Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri has been providing pioneering solutions in equipment, systems and software for the defence industry. In the first quarter of 2024, the company initiated discussions for a strategic partnership that will drive major transformation in the sector.

Within this scope, Forte Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri has formally begun negotiations with SSTEK Savunma Sanayi Teknolojileri A.Ş. (SSTEK), a 100% subsidiary of the Presidency of Defence Industries of the Republic of Turkey, regarding the acquisition of a 100% stake in MILSOFT, the country's first and only domestic company holding CMMI Level 5 certification and involved in critical defence industry projects.

Both companies, which have signed various strategic projects in the defence industry to date, aim to combine their knowledge, technical capacity and vision to offer next-generation solutions to the sector as of 2025. Through this partnership, it is planned that advanced technology defence systems will be developed more effectively using domestic and national capabilities, and new standards will be established in the sector. Forte Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri has become a trusted brand in the sector through the innovative software and systems solutions it has provided to date, and aims to expand its scope of influence in the defence industry further through this partnership.

Founded in 1998, MILSOFT produces proprietary solutions in Command and Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (C4I) Technologies, ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance) and Image Evaluation Systems, Tactical Data Link Systems, Embedded Systems, Battle Management System, Electronic Warfare, Information Technologies, Cyber Security, Training and Simulation.

It is planned that the discussions being conducted between Forte Bilgi ve İletişim Teknolojileri and MILSOFT will be detailed in subsequent periods and activities guiding the sector will be implemented.
