Eti Maden İşletmeleri and Hitit University Sign Cooperation Agreement

Collaboration Between Eti Maden İşletmeleri and Hitit Üniversitesi Eti Maden İşletmeleri General Management and Hitit Üniversitesi signed a cooperation protocol covering technical consulting, feasibility studies, project development and implementation. The signing ceremony took place at Hitit Üniversitesi Senate Meeting Hall with the participation of Eti Maden İşletmeleri General Manager Serkan Keleşer, Hitit Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk and relevant academic personnel. In his statement, Eti Maden İşletmeleri General Manager Serkan Keleşer emphasized that the organization attaches great importance to collaboration with universities and has conducted working visits to universities accordingly.

Eti Maden İşletmeleri General Management and Hitit Üniversitesi held the signing ceremony for a cooperation protocol covering technical consulting, feasibility studies, project development and implementation. Eti Maden İşletmeleri General Manager Serkan Keleşer made remarks at the ceremony. Keleşer stated that they expect support from universities particularly in subjects involving boron mining projects and applications, noting: "We value collaboration with universities to receive this support. Hitit Üniversitesi is the ninth university we have visited. With the cooperation protocol we will sign today, we plan to work with Hitit Üniversitesi on six areas including environmental management and solid-liquid waste management, energy efficiency, process design and optimization, production of advanced technology boron compounds, expansion of boron product applications, and recovery of valuable elements found in Eti Maden's mining areas."

Hitit Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Ali Osman Öztürk stated that as a university specializing in "Machinery and Manufacturing Technologies," they prioritize employment-focused and national production and development projects, particularly strategic product development aimed at improving export efficiency. Öztürk said: "Our cooperation protocol with Eti Maden will accelerate our national development-focused work in our area of specialization."

Emphasizing that the cooperation protocol offers important opportunities for Hitit Üniversitesi, Prof. Dr. Öztürk stated: "This cooperation protocol aims to conduct mutual collaboration on issues of critical and strategic importance today, to identify and evaluate national resources and needs, and to implement relevant projects. As Hitit Üniversitesi, we will make good use of this collaboration. The work we will conduct within this framework will bring significant gains to Hitit Üniversitesi in the coming years."
