Enerjisa Üretim Introduced More Than 44,000 Children to Renewable Energy

The Energy Production Center, launched in 2024 by Enerjisa Üretim in cooperation with KidZania İstanbul, has introduced more than 44,000 children to the world of renewable energy to date. At the center, children experience hands-on how sun, wind and water are converted into energy, while also getting to know professions in the energy sector up close.

Enerjisa Üretim, which continues its efforts toward Türkiye’s renewable energy transformation, is carrying on with its projects aimed at raising children’s awareness of energy and sustainability at an early age.

In this context, the Energy Production Center, launched in 2024 in cooperation with KidZania İstanbul, offers children the opportunity to learn about renewable energy sources and professions in the energy sector through hands-on experience.

Taking on the roles of energy and electrical engineers at the center, children discover hands-on how energy is produced. Participating in different applications ranging from controlling solar panels to assembling wind turbines, children learn the stages of energy production while also having the opportunity to develop skills such as teamwork, communication and creative thinking.

More than 44,000 children discovered renewable energy

The Energy Production Center, which began operating in 2024, has reached more than 44,000 children to date.

At the center, which aims to help children learn about renewable energy through experience, topics of energy and sustainability are also addressed through various workshops and events.

As part of these efforts, the Renewable Energy Coloring Book prepared by Enerjisa Üretim is being shared with children, while renewable energy and sustainability themes are explained through fun and interactive applications in the workshops held.

Through its cooperation with KidZania İstanbul, Enerjisa Üretim continues to support children in getting to know renewable energy sources at an early age, learning about energy production processes through hands-on experience, and discovering the professions of the future.

Children experience professions at KidZania İstanbul

KidZania İstanbul operates as an experience venue that enables children between the ages of 2 and 14 to learn by experiencing different professions and to develop various social skills.

In the 10,000-square-meter area in İstanbul, children can experience more than 120 professional roles across 67 activity zones. In addition to getting to know different professions, children have the opportunity to develop skills such as taking responsibility, communicating, teamwork and problem solving.
