Eksun Gıda has signed another important protocol that will bring together academic knowledge and industry experience. Through cooperation with Selçuk University, the company aims to develop R&D and innovation processes at its factory in Konya, train qualified human resources, and support sector-focused academic studies.

Eksun Gıda, one of Turkey's leading flour producers, is strengthening its investments through academic partnerships. Within this scope, the strategic protocol signed with Konya Selçuk University contains concrete steps toward university-industry collaboration. The protocol offers joint work opportunities in numerous areas such as R&D projects, technical consulting, thesis studies, and sharing of laboratory and infrastructure facilities, while also covering the integration of students into working life. The long-term project presents a collaboration model focused on both sectoral development and social benefit.

Joint objectives in R&D and human resources
Hasan Abdullah Özkan, Chairman and CEO of Eksun Gıda Group, emphasized that the protocol signed with Konya Selçuk University is one of the exemplary university-industry collaborations, stating:

"This protocol we have signed aims for the two institutions to jointly advance R&D, innovation and technology development, while also providing the sector with qualified human resources. Industrial development becomes possible through technology investment combined with human resources that properly understands, manages and applies this technology. Our strategic partnership with Selçuk University offers important opportunities for young engineering candidates to develop their competencies, participate in field-focused projects and gain experience in real production processes."

Scientific production integrated with sectoral needs
Through the signed protocol, Selçuk University's Akşehir Faculty of Engineering and Architecture also plans to develop projects targeting national and international support programs such as TÜBİTAK, EU and SAN-TEZ, integrate undergraduate and graduate thesis studies with sectoral needs, and support academic advisory processes. Programs offering students applied education, internship and field-based learning opportunities are also included within the protocol scope. The company aims to prepare the engineers of the future for the business world with proper qualifications, thereby providing long-term benefits to the sector.
