Eksun Gıda, one of Turkey's leading flour producers, shared its strategies and investment plans spanning production to export at a press meeting held at its production facility in Konya. Hasan Abdullah Özkan, Chairman and CEO of Eksun Gıda Group, emphasized that the company has strengthened both its operational capacity and sustainability focus.

New export target: More countries
Özkan noted that Eksun Gıda has reinforced its leading position in the sector through production discipline, export capability and industrial expertise, stating: "Today we export to over 20 countries. In the coming period, we will continue to increase this number and bring Anatolian wheat to the world." The program in Konya also covered the company's production structure in Tekirdağ and Konya, recent investments and R&D activities.

100 percent clean energy target
Drawing attention to the company's sustainability vision, Özkan announced that they have begun investments in a wind power plant in İzmir with a total capacity of 18.9 MW. Upon completion of these investments, the goal is to transition to 100 percent renewable energy use in production processes.

Strong increase in financial performance
Eksun Gıda reached net sales revenue of TRY 11.6 billion in 2025, while gross profit increased 20.1 percent to TRY 1.2 billion. Gross profit margin rose to 10.7 percent, while EBITDA reached TRY 307.8 million with an increase of approximately TRY 474 million.

Özkan noted that behind this performance lie data-driven management approach, strong digital infrastructure and artificial intelligence-supported analytics systems.

Storage capacity reaches 100,000 tonnes
Within the scope of recent investments, 12 new flour silos integrated into the Konya plant brought total storage capacity to 100,000 tonnes. Additionally, a licensed warehouse investment with 34,500 tonnes capacity aims to ensure safe and traceable storage of agricultural products.

R&D and university collaborations strengthen
The Eksun Gıda R&D Center conducts work ranging from gluten-free products to new flour varieties while collaborating with Namık Kemal, Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart, Uşak and Selçuk universities.

Work carried out in Konya as part of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry's "Whole Wheat Bread Promotion Campaign" is also among the company's R&D activities.

Brand value and social responsibility in focus
Eksun Gıda achieved a significant success by entering Brand Finance's 2025 "Turkey's Most Valuable Brands" list for the first time.

Through social responsibility projects conducted under the Sinangil brand, the company continues to create social value with workshops supporting women's employment and education projects for children.

Eksun Gıda aims to strengthen its position in the sector through production capacity, sustainability investments and export-focused growth strategy.
