Ege Kimya Acquires All Shares of Metal Oksit

The share transfer process ongoing between Ege Kimya San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (Ege Kimya) and Metal Oksit Kimya San. A.Ş. (Metal Oksit) has been completed following receipt of official approvals. With the execution of mutual agreements, Ege Kimya has acquired 100% of Metal Oksit's shares and now owns the entire company.

Strategic alliance between two established chemical industry brands
Founded in 1975 in Istanbul Ümraniye, Metal Oksit set a precedent in Turkey by beginning zinc oxide production using Swedish Ranas' know-how and French process technology.
With customer satisfaction as its core principle, the company relocated in 2015 to its modern facilities in Kocaeli Dilovası GEBKİM Demircilers OSB, significantly increasing production capacity and expanding its product range.

Ege Kimya, established in 1955, manufactures metal salts, metal carboxylates, silicates for various applications, rubber and construction chemicals at its world-standard facilities in Sakarya. Ranking among Turkey's largest industrial enterprises, Ege Kimya holds an important position as a supplier on global scale through strategic partnerships developed with international firms.
