Dr. Serhan Yılmaz to Lead AI and Data Transformation at Doğuş Teknoloji

Known for his leadership roles in Turkey and the global technology ecosystem, Dr. Serhan Yılmaz will lead Doğuş Teknoloji's artificial intelligence and data-driven transformation.

Dr. Serhan Yılmaz has been appointed Deputy General Manager responsible for Data and Artificial Intelligence at Doğuş Teknoloji. Recognized for his global experience in the technology world, academic depth and multifaceted leadership approach, Dr. Serhan Yılmaz will lead Doğuş Teknoloji's AI and data-driven transformation as of 2 February. Having held management positions at companies such as Turkcell, IBM, SAP, NTT Data and most recently Google, Serhan Yılmaz has left a strong mark in the sector. In addition to his role at Doğuş Teknoloji, he will also assume the position of Deputy General Manager (CDO) responsible for Data and Artificial Intelligence at Doğuş Group.

A Multifaceted Career Spanning from Engineering to Law, from Technology to Storytelling
Dr. Serhan Yılmaz began his education with bachelor's degrees in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration (minor). He strengthened his interdisciplinary expertise through Hacettepe University's Public Law Master's Program, International MBA Institute Management Degree in Switzerland, and Harvard University's Commercial Law program. Completing his academic journey with a Business Administration PhD from Conley American University, Yılmaz has held global-scale responsibilities for over 20 years in the business world. Throughout his career, Yılmaz has held various country and global management positions at Turkcell, IBM, SAP and NTT Data, and has served as Google Cloud Country Channel Leader since 2022.

Beyond his corporate and academic achievements, Dr. Serhan Yılmaz is also known as a "storyteller" and educator. He has appeared on 10+ TEDx stages and spoken at over eighty universities. Through his training programs, he has reached more than 100,000 participants, and over one million viewers on digital platforms. He is also the author of the book "Yaşamak Geçerken".

Yılmaz has continued his contribution to sectoral development through his evaluator role at MÜDEK (Engineering Education Programs Evaluation and Accreditation Association) for 8 years, and holds active roles in civil society organizations. He currently serves as Member of the Board of Directors of Fenerbahçe Sports Club, Vice-Chair of Turkey Sales and Business Development Association, Chief Advisor to TUSYAV, Advisor to Turkey Bar Association Board of Directors, and Leader of Darüşşafaka Society Technology Commission. A licensed volleyball, skiing and road cycling athlete, Dr. Serhan Yılmaz is married and a father of one child.
