Employment Opportunities for Earthquake Victims
Girişim Elektrik Sanayi, announced employment opportunities for earthquake victims at its subsidiaries Europower Enerji and PeakPV Solar.
Girişim Elektrik Sanayi has decided to expand its relief efforts on the employment front to address the devastation caused by the earthquake that deeply affected all of Turkey, including Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep, Hatay, Osmaniye, Adıyaman, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Malatya, Adana and Elazığ.
Girişim Elektrik, a global brand operating in 70 countries and prominent in production activities spanning from electricity generation to transmission, distribution and control, announced it will provide employment opportunities for earthquake victims at its subsidiaries Europower Enerji and PeakPV Solar.
M. Behiç Harmanlı, Chairman of the Board of Girişim Elektrik and Europower Enerji, made the following statement on the matter:
"Following this major disaster, we need to expand support efforts across all areas and prioritise employment, which is why we decided to create new positions. We have opened various positions in our production units for earthquake victims who have been forced to relocate to other provinces due to the destruction of thousands of buildings and workplaces. We will employ earthquake-affected personnel to work at our factories in Kahramankazan, Ankara, as well as at our PeakPV solar panel production facility in Temelli." According to information provided by Harmanlı, following applications to the company's human resources department, the following positions will be filled in Kahramankazan: electrical engineer, civil engineer, electrical technician, electrical technician, electrical panel assembler, wiring personnel, assembly personnel, machinery technician, telecommunications and automation technician, welder, painter, construction labourer, concrete and reinforcement specialist, and at the PeakPV solar panel production facility in Temelli, skilled and unskilled workers will be employed.
