Passengers using Çukurova International Airport for the first time said they were very pleased with the airport and that the region had a great need for a modern airport.

One Week Free Parking

Çukurova International Airport's car park will provide free service to passengers for one week between 11-18 August as a special opening offer.

Turkey's Gateway to the Middle East

Çukurova International Airport, which is the focus of Turkey and the world, particularly the Çukurova Region, is located in the district of Tarsus in Mersin on a total area of 8 million square meters, with a terminal building of 110 thousand square meters.

The airport, which KZV Airports built using the latest technology and the "Build-Operate-Transfer" model, will provide employment opportunities for 3,000 people directly and indirectly upon operation, and will make a significant contribution to the development of Çukurova in terms of economy, tourism and trade. With one main runway of 3,500 meters in length and an auxiliary runway, Çukurova International Airport will enable the landing and takeoff of even the largest passenger aircraft. Apron 1 can accommodate 48 aircraft, and Apron 2 at 120 meters in length can accommodate 21 aircraft.

9 Million Passenger Capacity

With a total passenger capacity of 9 million, and given its proximity to Mersin and Adana as well as Osmaniye and Niğde, the airport will serve over 5 million citizens living in these cities and will be one of Turkey's most important gateways to Middle Eastern countries.
