Tax Exemption Introduced for European Union Countries Under Covid-19 Measures

Istanbul Chemical Substances and Products Exporters Association (İKMİB) released a statement indicating that, as a result of a decision taken by the European Commission to facilitate the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, public institutions of European Union member states, approved relief organizations and charities authorized by competent authorities will import health, medical and similar other products from third countries without customs duties and value added tax until 31 July 2020.
