ChemSupplier's "Virtual Summit on Supply Management in the Chemical Industry" Brings Together Chemical Suppliers and Customers

Organized by Artkim, ChemSupplier "Supply Chain Management Virtual Summit in the Chemical Industry" brings together chemical suppliers, logistics service providers and manufacturers on a virtual platform from 8-12 June 2021.

ChemSupplier will host panel sessions where the foundations of new partnerships in the chemical and logistics sectors will be laid and sector assessments will be conducted. The comprehensively designed virtual platform offers participants and visitors an effective communication opportunity.

Live panel sessions will take place over 2 days during the summit. The panel will feature pandemic-period assessments of the chemical sector and expectations for 2021, with developments in chemical raw material supply management and chemical logistics management presented by visionary speakers from leading companies in the sector. Artkim Group Chief Executive Officer Cengiz Yaman stated: "Our aim is to create a platform where raw material, logistics and supply chain management issues are evaluated from both supplier and buyer perspectives in live sessions and solution proposals are negotiated. Leading Names in the Chemical Sector Come Together at ChemSupplier Virtual Summit Program

The summit program will begin on 8 June with opening remarks by Neville Prior, President of the European Association of Chemical Distributors (FECC), and Adil Pelister, Chairman of the Board of the Istanbul Chemicals and Chemical Products Exporters Association (İKMİB). On 8 June, in the first panel session, moderated by Hasan Şerefhan, Technical Plant Director at DYO Construction Paints, the following will discuss "Developments in Raw Material Production in Turkey and the World": Deniz Yıldırım, Deputy Commercial Director at Organik Kimya, Onur Kipri, General Director of Akkim Kimya, Rami Atikoğlu, General Director of BASF Turkey and Head of Turkey / Azerbaijan Country Group, and Selçuk Denizligil, General Director of Polisan Kimya. In the second session of the day, moderated by Necati Hakoğlu, Senior Management Consultant, the following will assess "Developments in Raw Material Supply Management": Erhan Tutunan, General Director of Univar Solutions Turkey and EMEA Rubber and Plastics Manager, Ferda Efe, President of Brenntag Kimya Tic.   In the first panel session of the summit's second day, ChemSupplier will bring together officials from leading companies in logistics, the most important element of supply processes.
