As the cold air wave originating from Siberia and affecting Istanbul leaves the region, temperatures are expected to rise and return to seasonal norms.

Istanbul Weather: Temperatures Rising, No Precipitation Expected
According to the weekly weather forecast released by Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Disaster Affairs Department AKOM, partly cloudy and clear weather is expected across the city on Tuesday, 25 February 2025. Daytime temperatures are expected to hover around 7°C, with no precipitation forecast.
Morning air temperature of 3°C will rise to 7°C by midday. In the evening it will be 6°C, and at night 5°C. Humidity is expected to range between 45-70 percent, while winds from the southwest and south are forecast to be light to occasionally moderate (5-20 km/s).

Istanbul's dams are measured at 71.79 percent capacity, while sea water temperature has been recorded at 8°C.

Siberian Cold Receding
With the departure of the Siberian cold wave affecting Istanbul from the region, temperatures are expected to rise toward seasonal norms, and cemre is forecast to be felt distinctly.
Until March, air temperatures are expected to fluctuate around seasonal norms to 2-5°C below seasonal norms, while through mid-March temperatures are forecast to remain around seasonal norms to 1-3°C below seasonal norms.
