Çağdaş Saygı, who has demonstrated successful performance at Polisan Hellas, the Balkans' only granule PET producer and manufacturer for major world brands, will oversee Polisan Kimya's new 2025 strategy.
Within the framework of a strategy targeting capacity increases, new product development and export-driven growth, Çağdaş Saygı will first oversee the opening of the new Industry 4.0-based production facility whose foundations were laid in 2021.
The new facility, expected to open in the third quarter of the year, is expected to bring a 30 percent capacity increase in the production of formaldehyde and resins, which currently stands at 150,000 tonnes annually.
We have high-value new product projects
Polisan Kimya's new General Manager Çağdaş Saygı announced in a brief statement that the company's 22-member research and development team is also working on new products. He continued with these remarks: "Currently, our Polisan Kimya R&D Centre is working at intensive capacity. We have high-value new product projects, particularly on the phenol resin side, which serves as a binder for stone wool used in insulation activities and is of strategic importance for the furniture sector. We plan to produce these new products in our new Industry 4.0-based facility. We are proceeding at full speed with our new resin solutions for long shelf-life, innovative industrial and non-industrial interior panels. Beyond all this, we are focused on functional solutions that insulate, lighten and adhere for the insulation, automotive, aviation, space and defence industries. As Polisan Kimya, we have set the goal of developing products for different sectors and expanding our portfolio in this new period." Listing the countries where they export as "Romania, Bulgaria, Italy, Greece, Kosovo, Israel, Egypt and Australia," Çağdaş Saygı announced that they will accelerate export efforts targeting the Balkans and Europe.Advertisement
