Industrial City Bursa Supports Vocational Education with Visionary Projects Bursa National Education Directorate, which ranks among the top in revolving fund income in vocational education, will introduce its new project at the 20th National Education Council to be held on 1-3 December. The project is expected to increase industry's role in vocational education in particular. Within the scope of the project, training centers will be opened in Organized Industrial Zones (OSBs) and large industrial facilities. These centers will enable students from various schools to attend certain applied courses and prepare them more equipped for working life. Provincial National Education Director Serkan Gür made statements on the subject to the AA correspondent. Gür stated: "We will have important work to establish a vocational education ecosystem that produces with the sector. From now on, we will continue to do important work especially with our industrialists by truly increasing the energy of the 'education, production, employment' cycle and improving its efficiency. The system that we will present to the public in Bursa as an integration system, we are also preparing as a Turkey integration system according to the development levels of 26 regions," he said. Gür stated that they are working to further strengthen the "education, employment, production" relationship, which is among the main policies of the Ministry of National Education. Noting that the prepared project is important work for Turkey, Gür stated that they want to strengthen vocational education in the industrial city of Bursa. Qualified Workforce Will Be Raised

Gür stated that vocational and technical education develops qualified workforce to meet the needs of the labor market. Regarding the project, Gür said: "We have taken action for the work that needs to be done in Bursa. In the coming period, we will undertake important work especially to raise generations developing technology in vocational and technical education to produce things and put them to the benefit of Turkey. Bursa is also a city that is very advanced in exports, and its human resources need to be constantly supported from below, which is extremely important for our beautiful country. I think that opening up access to vocational and technical education is very important for Bursa industry. In recent times, there is a very marked increase in vocational and technical education indicators. Our acceleration continues upward very rapidly." He used these expressions. Reminding that the strengthening of vocational education centers has enabled graduates to obtain a high school diploma, Gür said: "We are working with important industrialists in terms of vocational education. With Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Bursa Commercial Exchange, our exporter associations, OSBs, businesspeople and industrialists, we are creating a system with sectoral integration for all vocational and technical education in Bursa. At the 20th National Education Council work, the system we will present to the public in Bursa as an integration system, we are also preparing as a Turkey integration system according to the development levels of 26 regions," he said.
