Scientist Betül Kaçar Joins NASA Team
Turkish scientist Betül Kaçar has been selected to join a new team at NASA dedicated to searching for signs of life in the universe.
Betül Kaçar, Associate Professor in the field of astrobiology, said: "Great news. I'm struggling to put it into words, but here it is: I have been accepted to a new NASA team created to search for signs of life in the universe."
Betül Kaçar will work in the team established by NASA to investigate signs of life in the universe.
Kaçar studied Chemistry at the Department of Chemistry at Marmara Üniversitesi. She joined Harvard University in 2012. There she worked in the Department of Organismic and Evolutionary Biology. The researcher also holds the title of Associate Professor at Tokyo Institute of Technology.
