New Date Set for BeautyEurasia

  The 16th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hairdressing Fair – BeautyEurasia is continuing preparations to welcome domestic and international participants and visitors at its new date of 25-27 November 2020. The 16th International Cosmetics, Beauty and Hairdressing Fair – BeautyEurasia, the largest cosmetics fair in the Eurasian region where industry trends are discussed and the latest products meet domestic and international visitors, originally scheduled for 1-3 July 2020, has been rescheduled due to the global COVID-19 situation.

Following the decisions and announcements made by the Ministry of Trade regarding fairs and subsequent evaluation, the new date has been set as 25-27 November 2020. The Fair, which will be held at the Istanbul Exhibition Centre in Yeşilköy, will take place as planned between 25-27 November.

  Kemal Ülgen, Regional Director of Hyve Group, the global exhibition company organizing BeautyEurasia, stated in his comments that the Ministry of Trade's decisions are highly important and appropriate for managing the process and rapidly regaining economic vitality prior to the pandemic. Ülgen continued as follows: "Covid-19, which originated in China and quickly affected the entire world, and which the World Health Organization has designated as a pandemic, has necessitated serious measures in the business world. The fundamental rationale for these appropriate and effective measures is to bring the pandemic under control as soon as possible and to resume global economic activity from where it left off. The health of our employees, participants and visitors was our top priority yesterday, and will continue to be our top priority today and tomorrow.

We are confident that all our stakeholders will understand our decision to hold our fair in the cosmetics sector, one of Turkey's strong industries, on 25-27 November 2020. We will continue to inform our participants and the public about developments in the sector and our brands at local and global levels.

  Work is proceeding at full pace to welcome visitors from around the world over three days at BeautyEurasia, the sector's largest fair in Eurasia. Organized by Hyve Group with the support of the Ministry of Trade, BeautyEurasia aims to create new business, partnership and purchasing opportunities for Turkey with its strong regional network. The Fair provides a productive platform full of activities for discussing global and regional development areas of the sector and enabling information exchange, as well as promoting new ideas and products. In 2019, the Fair hosted 367 participant companies from 33 countries and 11,786 visitors from 130 countries, increasing the number of international visitors by 51% compared to 2018. The figures in 2020 are expected to increase depending on dynamics in the domestic and foreign markets.
