Bayer's G4a Venture Acceleration Program Receives Bronze Award

Bayer's G4A Startup Acceleration Program, designed to support innovative initiatives in health and agriculture, has won a Bronze Award in the Special Projects category at the 2025 Mercury Excellence Awards.
Playing a pioneering role with 70 years of experience in health and agriculture, Bayer Turkey has achieved a global success. The G4A Startup Acceleration Program, which Bayer has been running in partnership with Tenity since 2018 to support Turkey's entrepreneurship ecosystem, has been recognized with a Bronze Award in the Special Projects category at the Mercury Excellence Awards 2025.
The Mercury awards received more than 300 applications from 13 countries, with only projects in the top 30 percent by score eligible for awards. Having previously won the Gold Stevie Award in the "Most Innovative Company" category at the Stevie Awards International Business Awards, Bayer's G4A Program has gained recognition once again on the international stage.
G4A Program Contributes TRY 6.5 Million to the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem in 7 Years
Over the past 7 years, Bayer has supported 42 startups under the G4A program in Turkey, providing approximately TRY 6.5 million in contribution to the entrepreneurship ecosystem. Of the 37 startups supported between 2018-2023, 10 of them achieved a combined company valuation of 118 million dollars.
The G4A program accepts applications from startups that provide digital solutions in health and agriculture, have moved beyond the idea stage, and possess a sustainable and scalable business model. The program offers opportunities and grants for entrepreneurs to secure investment, access international markets, and collaborate with Bayer, while also providing comprehensive training and mentoring support in areas such as financial planning, investor relations, marketing strategies, and legal procedures.
