Bayer Signs Cooperation Agreement with Yeditepe University Faculty of Pharmacy
Bayer and Yeditepe University Faculty of Pharmacy have signed a project that exemplifies Industry-University Collaboration, an area of increasing importance.
Yeditepe University Faculty of Pharmacy students took the courses "Pharmacoeconomics – Pharmacoepidemiology" and "Bayer and Pharmaceutical Industry" from Bayer executives during the Spring 2018 semester.
Yeditepe University Faculty of Pharmacy students took the "Pharmacoeconomics – Pharmacoepidemiology" course from 5 Market Access Department managers with expertise in the field during the Spring 2018 semester.
The 16-week course covered the theoretical foundations of Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmacoepidemiology. At the same time, students had the opportunity to experience how these practices are reflected in daily practice through collaborations with public bodies and other stakeholders.For the training of the elective course "PIWB – Bayer and Pharmaceutical Industry," which lasted 14 weeks and was led by the Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information department, many Bayer departments contributed, including Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information, Clinical Research and Medical Compliance, Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Market Access, Corporate Communications, and Human Resources.
