Andreas Knupp Appointed Country Manager of Bayer Crop Science

Andreas Knupp assumes his position as Country Director for Bayer Crop Science East Mediterranean Region in Turkey as of 1 December 2025.

Andreas Knupp, who held the position of Unit Leader for Bayer Crop Science Northwest in Germany, will serve as Country Director responsible for the Bayer Crop Science East Mediterranean region in Turkey starting 1 December 2025. Knupp will be based in Istanbul in his new role.

Knupp holds an MBA from IE Business School in Spain and began his career at Bayer in 2006 as a Management Trainee. Throughout his career spanning more than 15 years in national, regional and global roles, he has held positions in product management, key account management, go-to-market process restructuring and corporate strategy; he has gained international experience in Australia, Singapore, France, Poland and Germany.

Before leading the Northwest Sales Unit in Germany and taking on responsibility for crop protection activities nationwide, Knupp successfully managed the marketing organization as a member of the D-A-CH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) country group leadership team.
