Bayer Receives Second-Place Award Bayer's Gebze crop protection products facility achieved exports worth TRY 302 million to 20 countries from Turkey in 2023, representing a 35 percent increase compared to the previous year. At this year's ninth ceremony, which saw 170 awards distributed across 34 categories, Burak Koçer, Gebze Plant Logistics and Financial Control Manager, who accepted the award on behalf of Bayer Turkey, stated: "As Gebze Facility, we are expanding our investments and plan to increase our production capacity by 53 percent in the coming period. We are honored to contribute to exports with our growing volume each year and to crown our successes with awards. We continue to manufacture in our facility, which meets global standards in technology and environmental criteria, and to provide innovative solutions. We also have the goal of entering new foreign markets. In this way, we will continue to contribute to the chemical sector, which aims to realize exports exceeding USD 35 billion in 2024 by increasing Turkey's share in crop protection products exports."
