Akcoat Receives Award at "Stars of Exports" Award Ceremony

Chemical coating materials manufacturer Akcoat has earned second place in the 'Paints, Varnishes and Inks Exports' category through exports conducted via group company Ak-Pa. Chemical coating materials manufacturer Akcoat has achieved another success through export operations conducted via group company Ak-Pa. The 2023 İKMİB Stars of Exports Awards Ceremony, held for the ninth time this year by İKMİB to honour and encourage member companies in the chemical sector for their successful exports, took place on 22 February 2024 at Çırağan Palace. At the 2023 İKMİB Stars of Exports Awards Ceremony, Ak-Pa was recognized with second place in the "Paints, Varnishes and Inks Exports" category for exports conducted on behalf of Akcoat in 2023. With this award, Akcoat added another success in the first quarter of 2024. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Minister of Commerce Özgür Volkan Ağar, Turkish Exporters Council (TİM) Chairman Mustafa Gültepe, İKMİB Board Chairman Adil Pelister, Akcoat Global Sales Director Ahmet Madenli, Ak-Pa General Manager Pelin Irgaç and representatives of other award-winning companies. A total of 170 companies that placed in the top three across 34 categories in the chemical sector's sub-sectors and product groups received awards at the ceremony.

Ahmet Madenli, Global Sales Director, who received the award on behalf of Akcoat, made the following comments:
