BASF Raises Prices for Pigments, Dyes and Preparations Worldwide

Effective 29 January 2018 or upon acceptance of contracts, BASF will increase prices by up to 15% globally for pigments, paints and preparations. The price increase will affect all market segments, primarily coatings, plastics and printing industries. Price adjustments are necessary due to high raw material prices, as well as rising costs for regulatory efforts such as registration, environment, health and safety for pigment and paint manufacturers.
