Balıkesir University and Şişecam Sign Cooperation Agreement

Balıkesir University and Şişecam Collaboration Balıkesir University continues its graduate employment initiatives within the framework of university-industry collaborations. As part of graduate employment efforts, applications have opened for the "6th Glass Applications Training Program for Employment" organized in collaboration with Şişecam Elyaf San. In his remarks on the subject, Balıkesir University Rector Prof. Dr. İlter Kuş emphasized the importance they attach to university-industry collaborations and shared his satisfaction that the collaborative work with Şişecam creates employment opportunities for Balıkesir University graduates. Rector Prof. Dr. İlter Kuş stated: "We are delighted to begin a new employment process through our work with Şişecam, one of the important industrial organizations operating at international scale in our country. In the collaborative work that has been carried out five times so far and has resulted in the employment of 130 of our graduates, approximately 60 additional graduates are planned to be employed through the new training program.   In this context, graduates from 20 different associate degree programs within our vocational schools will be able to apply to the training program. Following the training, examination and interview processes, the employment procedures will be completed. I would like to extend my thanks to the officials of Şişecam, who have set an important and valuable example by demonstrating a sustainable partnership, and to the relevant academics at our university for their interest and support in this process," he said. Rector Prof. Dr. İlter Kuş emphasized that they place great importance not only on students receiving quality education in line with their institutional vision, but also on their employment as qualified workforce following graduation, and added that they will continue employment-focused collaborative initiatives.
