AZZ Acquires Enhanced Powder Coating Company

AZZ, a global supplier of galvanizing services, welding solutions, specialized electrical equipment and high-end engineering services to power generation, transmission, distribution and industrial markets, announced it has acquired the assets of Enhanced Powder Coating. Enhanced Powder Coating is a NADCAP-certified supplier based in Gainesville, Texas, offering custom-engineered, high-specification powder coating, coating and anodizing services. Founded in 2003, EPC provides advanced technology powder coating, abrasive blasting and coating solutions for heavy industry, transportation, aerospace and light commercial sectors. The transaction terms were not disclosed. AZZ believes the acquisition of EPC will increase earnings within the first year of operations.
