Automechanika Istanbul Set to Reopen Its Doors on 18 November
Automechanika Istanbul, Turkey's leading automotive industry meeting point, is preparing to reopen its doors on 18 November with its enhanced new concept!
Turkey's leading international automotive industry trade fair, Automechanika Istanbul, is being held on 18-21 November 2021 at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Centre following a roughly 2-year break due to the pandemic.
As in previous fairs, domestic and international automotive industry professionals are preparing to be present at the fair venue with high-quality presentations and on the new "PLUS" digital platform. Leading names, brands and associations from Asia and Europe will converge at Automechanika Istanbul Plus, jointly organized by Messe Frankfurt Istanbul and Hannover Fairs Turkey. The categories on display at the fair include components and systems, electronic systems and connectivity, accessories and customization, fleet and workshop management, fault diagnosis and repair, vehicle washing and maintenance, alternative drive and fuel systems, tyres and wheels, body shop and painting, autonomous driving and mobility services – product groups that hold an important share in Turkey's automotive sector exports.
The Automechanika brand's digital concept PLUS is being implemented at Automechanika Istanbul starting with the November 2021 fair.
Designed following research conducted during the pandemic and examination of various digital platforms and business models worldwide, Automechanika Istanbul Plus aims to enable automotive professionals to gain full value from the fair under pandemic conditions. With features available on the digital platform, Automechanika Istanbul Plus reaches a broader audience of participants and visitors.
With more than 2 years having passed without the fair being held due to the pandemic, the November 2021 fair – which represents a return to normalcy – offers participants greater business opportunities and a different experience. Automechanika Istanbul Plus will continue to serve the automotive industry permanently with this concept as the fair returns to its regular calendar in subsequent years.
Automechanika Istanbul Plus brings professionals together both at the physical fair and in the digital space.
Taking place physically at Istanbul TÜYAP Fair and Congress Centre between 18-21 November, Automechanika Istanbul Plus will also shape the automotive industry this year through its specially developed digital platform for professionals unable to attend physically due to international travel restrictions. Participating companies with stands at Automechanika Istanbul Plus will also be able to display their products with online profiles on the digital platform if they choose to participate, conduct live meetings with customers and share business cards.
The Automechanika Istanbul Plus digital platform was developed to bring participants, buyers and automotive industry professionals together under one roof for effective business meetings. Through this digital platform designed by the Automechanika Istanbul team, automotive professionals, wherever they are in the world, will be just a mobile device away from all the fair's content, participants, products and events.
The latest trends and innovations in the automotive industry will feature in the Automechanika Academy programme alongside special speakers!
As in previous years, the Automechanika Academy will host conferences, seminars, presentations, workshops and panel events covering developments in the automotive industry and future mobility technologies, accessible to automotive industry professionals both at the fair venue and through the digital platform. Within the Automechanika Academy programme, selected speakers invited from experts, associations and universities will share developments, innovations and commentary on the automotive industry with audiences to facilitate current knowledge exchange in the sector.
Women's contribution to the automotive industry will make its mark on the sector through Automechanika Istanbul Plus!
Among the panel discussions taking place as part of Automechanika Academy events, another highlighted topic will be Women Talk, which addresses women's employment in the automotive sector. The panel will feature projects by major companies focused on women's employment in the automotive sector and the personal stories of successful women in the industry.
