Atlas Copco acquires Orcan Basınçlı Hava Makinaları
Istanbul-based Orcan has 17 employees and provides services on the European side of Istanbul and in the Thrace region of Turkey.
Istanbul, Turkey, 2 March 2017: Atlas Copco, a leading provider of sustainable productivity solutions, has acquired Orcan Basınçlı Hava Makinaları San. ve Tic. Ltd., which distributes and services Atlas Copco industrial compressors and related products in Turkey.
Istanbul-based Orcan employs 17 staff and serves the European side of Istanbul and the Thrace region of Turkey. The company carries out sales and service operations for Atlas Copco compressors and air conditioning systems used in manufacturing and general industry.
Following the acquisition, Nico Delvaux, President of Atlas Copco Compressor Technique, said: "We are very pleased that the Orcan team is joining us. We believe we will achieve greater success together in improving the productivity of our customers in Turkey."
The parties decided not to disclose the acquisition price. Following the acquisition, the company became part of the Atlas Copco Compressor Technique business area.
