ASELSAN's ANTIDOT and FULMAR Systems Operated Together with Bayraktar TB2

The ANTIDOT 2ES 100 Electronic Support (ES) Pod, ANTIDOT 2EA 200 Electronic Warfare (EW) Pod and FULMAR 200 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Pod, developed by ASELSAN, operated together on Bayraktar TB2 platforms during an international demonstration activity.
The ANTIDOT 2ES 100 Electronic Support (ES) Pod, ANTIDOT 2EA 200 Electronic Warfare (EW) Pod and FULMAR 200 Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) Pod, developed by ASELSAN, operated together on Bayraktar TB2 platforms during an international demonstration activity.
Defense delegations from 18 countries attended the demonstration held in Konya. As part of the demo, radar detection, electronic attack, target localization, reconnaissance-surveillance, and high-resolution SAR imaging capabilities were showcased.
ANTIDOT and FULMAR worked in coordination
During the activity, different system combinations were used on two Bayraktar TB2s. ANTIDOT 2ES 100 and ANTIDOT 2EA 200 were integrated onto one TB2, while FULMAR 200 was integrated onto the other.
In the first test, ANTIDOT 2ES 100 detected the signal of the target radar system during flight and determined the target's location. Following the transfer of target data obtained by the electronic support pod, electronic attack was carried out on the target with ANTIDOT 2EA 200.
During this process, the electronic warfare capability that makes it more difficult for the TB2 to be detected by radar systems while approaching the target was demonstrated.
SAR imaging was performed in the second test
In the second stage, the ANTIDOT system detected a different target and determined its location. After the target location information was transferred to FULMAR 200, the system generated a high-resolution SAR image. Thus, detection and location determination, electronic attack, and high-resolution imaging capabilities were demonstrated on two TB2s within the same operational scenario. During the activity, the ANTIDOT systems were tested against real radar systems on the TB2 for the first time, while the interoperability of the ANTIDOT and FULMAR systems was also demonstrated.
ANTIDOT 2ES 100 detects threat radars
The ANTIDOT 2ES 100 Electronic Support System has the capability to detect, identify and digitally record the signals of threat air defense system radars, as well as precisely determine threat direction and locate their positions. The system can transmit the data deemed necessary by the user to the ground control station in real time via the aircraft's communication band.
ANTIDOT 2EA 200 offers electronic attack capability
With its compact structure, low weight and optimized power consumption, ANTIDOT 2EA 200, which can be integrated into unmanned aerial vehicles, offers electronic support and electronic attack capabilities together. The system contributes to the identification of threats by detecting air defense systems and their locations while measuring the signal characteristics of search and tracking radars. Capable of fully autonomous operation, ANTIDOT 2EA 200 can carry out electronic attacks against the radars of air defense systems using the loaded electronic attack techniques.
FULMAR 200 performs SAR imaging in all weather conditions
FULMAR 200 stands out as a new-generation, lightweight, compact and low-power-consumption Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system developed for use in reconnaissance and surveillance on manned and unmanned aerial vehicles. The system, which has an AESA structure, can perform Spotlight and Stripmap SAR missions day and night, in all weather conditions. FULMAR 200, which can be integrated in pod form under the wing or on the fuselage of the air platform, can also be used together with electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) cameras.
