ASAŞ Showcased Advanced Technologies at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026

ASAŞ, one of Türkiye's leading industrial organizations, presented its innovative solutions for the automotive and transportation sectors to industry professionals at IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, held in Hannover, Germany, between September 15–20, 2026. Taking part in the fair with its integrated production capability, large-size profile production capacity and sustainable production approach, ASAŞ introduced its advanced manufacturing technologies, most notably its 150MN extrusion press, along with its wide product portfolio.

At IAA TRANSPORTATION 2026, the global arena focused on the future of commercial vehicles, automotive, trailer and transportation sectors, ASAŞ hosted industry professionals from around the world at its stand, Hall 25, C30. The company showcased innovative aluminum solutions that reduce the carbon footprint of the logistics and automotive world while increasing operational efficiency by reducing vehicle weight.

With the tightening of emission standards and the transition to e-mobility, "lightweighting" and "sustainability" are becoming critical requirements for commercial vehicles. To meet this demand, ASAŞ produces large-size profiles reaching 1000 mm width, 670 mm height and 30 meters length in-house, through its investment in Europe's highest-capacity 150MN extrusion press, which it has put into operation. On its 4500-ton, 45MN Hybrex Press line, which provides energy efficiency of up to 50%, high-strength structural components such as body and battery case profiles, particularly for electric vehicles, are manufactured.

Focusing on environmental responsibility in production, ASAŞ embodies its decarbonization targets through its low-carbon aluminum billet brand NexAL. Produced using low-carbon primary raw materials, recycled scrap, and IREC-certified renewable energy, NexAL offers lot-based traceability and EPD certificates, directly contributing to global manufacturers' reduction of their Scope 3 emissions.

Managing all processes in an integrated manner—from melting to casting, precision CNC machining, advanced robotic welding on 120-meter lines, and delivery of assembly-ready kits—ASAŞ offers a wide range of solutions from battery enclosures to chassis components and modular trailer profiles. This end-to-end engineering approach, which increases payload capacity by reducing total vehicle weight and provides longer range for electric commercial vehicles, brings global manufacturers flexibility in the supply chain, time savings, and a sustainable advantage in total cost of ownership (TCO).
