Altekma's New Product Atar Pump Reduces Material Consumption

Altekma A.Ş., a member of Altekma Group, has achieved success on a project it has been developing for an extended period. The company, which has pioneered a major innovation in Turkey and globally, has met an important sector need with its fully domestically-manufactured airless pump, Atar Pump. Altekma Group has been manufacturing road marking machines, road marking paints, traffic signs and other products at its production facility in Torbalı, İzmir since 1997. At the launch event, Altekma presented the first prototype of its renewed road marking machines and introduced its new domestically-made pump, Atar Pump.

Reduces Material Consumption

Speaking at the event, Altekma Group Chairman of the Board Hulusi Durmuş outlined the innovations Atar Pump will bring to the sector. Durmuş stated: "With our domestically-made, entirely in-house produced pump Atar Pump, we are taking successful steps both in reducing material consumption and in advancing independently of reliance on America and Europe. With this technology, our pump prevents material consumption at a ratio of one-third compared to other airless pumps in its class."

Torbalı Chamber of Commerce Chairman Abdulvahap Olgun, who attended the event, expressed pride in Altekma Group's manufacturing, stating: "The essence of our domestic and national cause lies here. It is a great joy to manufacture in İzmir, Torbalı many products that we have procured from abroad for years. I sincerely congratulate everyone who contributed to this effort."

Altekma Group Chairman of the Board Hulusi Durmuş, emphasizing the experience gained by the company's operations over the years, stated: "For years we had a dream to use our own pump on the road marking machines we manufacture. We have realized this and taken an important step for Turkey. This is just the beginning," signaling that the company will achieve its growth targets and introduce innovations to the sector.
