Alışan Lojistik, which supports greater female participation in the logistics sector, has added another initiative to its efforts to strengthen women's employment. Under a female driver employment program led by the International Road Transport Union (UND), two female drivers who joined Alışan Lojistik have successfully completed their vocational training and begun their duties.

Alışan Lojistik, which supports women taking on more visible and active roles across all areas of the logistics sector, continues to set an example for the industry through practices aligned with its equal opportunity approach. The female drivers who began work within the company underwent comprehensive training before starting their duties.

Through the training program, female drivers received technical information on Renault Trucks vehicles and Hankook tires used in the Alışan Lojistik fleet, while also receiving detailed training on safe driving techniques, vehicle technology, operational efficiency, tire use and driving safety. The program aimed to support drivers in carrying out their duties more safely and effectively, while also promoting their professional development.

In comments on the matter, Alışan Lojistik CEO Damla Alışan said:
"We support greater representation of women across all areas of the logistics sector and we are continuing our efforts in this direction with determination. The driving profession is an important part of this transformation. We are delighted to contribute to this valuable project implemented under the leadership of UND and to welcome our female drivers to our team. We believe that a sector where women are more visible not only in offices but at every stage of operations and behind the wheel will be stronger, more inclusive and more sustainable."

Alışan Lojistik, which has placed the increase of female employment among its corporate priorities, will continue to support and implement projects that will strengthen women's representation in the logistics sector in the coming period.
