Cemil Kazancı, Chairman of the Board and CEO of Aksa Enerji, stating that the power plant represents a new milestone in the company's globalization journey, made the following statements: "Reaching full capacity at the Talimercan Power Plant is an extremely proud moment for us. With this project, we have once again demonstrated our expertise, operational excellence and innovative engineering approach on the international energy stage. This investment, which we are carrying out in cooperation with the Uzbekistan government and the National Electric Company of Uzbekistan, also serves to strengthen Turkey-Uzbekistan economic relations. This power plant, which has positioned our company as the country's largest Turkish investor, will strengthen the supply chain by ensuring energy supply security and increasing local employment, and will contribute to both economic and social development of the region. Drawing strength from this success, we will continue to contribute to global energy markets with new projects and investments in different geographies."
Aksa Enerji will continue to serve international energy supply security with new investments under its 2030 Global Strategy.
