Aksa Akrilik rated above global average in "Climate Change" and "Water Programme" assessments
According to the 2019 Turkey results of CDP, the world's largest corporate environmental reporting platform, Aksa Akrilik received a B- rating for the second time in the "Climate Change" assessment, while upgrading its "Water Programme" rating to B level. Thus, Aksa Akrilik is rated above the global average scale in "Climate Change" and "Water Management". Aksa Akrilik, developing efficiency-focused approaches within a sustainability framework, operates according to this perspective in its business practices and takes care to use limited resources effectively in all its activities. The company, proceeding from the standpoint of being a leader in environmental protection in its operations and ensuring the continuity of economic development, received a B- rating for the second time in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) "Climate Change" assessment as a result of its sustainability initiatives, while upgrading its score to B level in the "Water Programme" assessment. Within the scope of the CDP programme, Aksa Akrilik voluntarily shared its data on greenhouse gas emissions, climate change, strategies and sustainable water use in accordance with the CDP 2019 climate change and water programme questionnaire. CDP rates companies on a scale from A to D-, using a comprehensive and independent methodology, based on best practice examples of environmental leadership including the comprehensiveness of disclosure, awareness level, management of environmental risks and establishment of environment-related targets.
