Aksa Akrilik, Akkim and Akcoat Ranked in 'R&D 250'
Aksa Akrilik and Akkim Kimya, subsidiaries of Akkök Holding operating in Yalova, and Akcoat, with production facilities in Sakarya, have once again secured positions on the "R&D 250" list published by Turkishtime magazine this year.
The results of the "R&D 250" research conducted by Turkishtime, an economics and business magazine, since 2013 have been announced.

Aksa Akrilik climbs 43 positions
Aksa Akrilik, Turkey's sole and the world's leading acrylic fiber producer, jumped 43 positions in the list of companies making the highest R&D investments, moving from the previous year to rank 65th. The company also entered the top 100 in this category by running 31 projects within its R&D center in 2021, ranking 90th. Aksa Akrilik invested TRY 33,547,000 in R&D in the previous year, with its 2022 budget in this area exceeding TRY 40 million.Akkim developed 67 R&D projects
Akkim Kimya, one of Turkey's leading chemical raw material producers, rose one position in the general list this year, reaching 119th place. The company achieved 28th position in this category with 67 projects in its R&D center. Akkim Kimya allocated an R&D budget of TRY 28,027,000 for 2022, having invested over TRY 21 million in this area the previous year.Akcoat registered 36 designs
Akcoat, a chemical coatings material producer, secured 36 design registrations through its R&D center activities in 2021, ranking 15th in this category. Rising two positions in the general list to 220th place, the company achieved 19th place in this field with 86 projects completed during the year.
