Akkim Kimya's Digital Transformation Project Receives Award at Business Honors Awards

Akkim Kimya has been awarded "Best Digital Transformation Project" at the Business Honors Awards 2026 for its data-driven predictive maintenance transformation project implemented in its production processes.

Akkim Kimya has been recognized with the "Best Digital Transformation Project" award under Business Honors Awards 2026 for its data-driven predictive maintenance transformation initiative implemented in production processes.

Akkim Kimya, operating under Akkök Holding, aims to strengthen operational efficiency, sustainability and resource management through its digitalization efforts focused on production processes.

At the awards ceremony held on 12 May at Crowne Plaza Istanbul Ortaköy Bosphorus, Akkim Kimya was represented by Human and Corporate Services Director Koray Özgür, Equipment Maintenance Manager Murat Morgül and Human Resources Manager Didem Usta.

Data-driven maintenance infrastructure established
As part of the project, Akkim Kimya digitalized equipment management processes and created a standardized, traceable data infrastructure. This infrastructure aimed to identify potential equipment failures in advance, manage maintenance processes more efficiently and increase operational continuity.

The company also aims to achieve time and cost savings through data analytics, increase efficiency in production processes and strengthen sustainable operations structure.

"Transition from experience-based to data-driven approach achieved"
The digital transformation project encompassed not only technical infrastructure renewal but also strengthening a data-driven working approach in corporate culture. The project aimed to shift maintenance processes from an "experience-based" to a "data-driven" professional approach.

Akkim Kimya General Manager Veysi Küçük made the following statement regarding the award:
