Akkim Kimya Launches New Term of "İyi Gelecek" Internship Program

Akkim Kimya's "Akkim Good Future" internship programme, which has been implemented since 2019 and opened doors to 80 young talents, began the 2025–2026 period with 14 new interns. The programme aims to familiarize young people with Akkim culture and help them make a strong start in the business world.

Akkim, Turkey's leading chemical company, has launched a new cycle of its "Akkim Good Future" internship programme, which aims to bring qualified workforce to the sector by offering development opportunities to young people. Since 2019, the programme has reached 80 young talents and recruited 13 of them as full-time employees at Akkim; this year, 14 students will participate in internships. Interns will take on various responsibilities in different departments, gaining a comprehensive perspective on the business world and acquiring experiences that will contribute to their professional development.

Commenting on the programme, Director of Human Resources and Corporate Services Koray Özgür noted that they view the Good Future internship programme as an important part of establishing a strong and sustainable connection with young talents early on, and made the following assessment: "We attach importance to our interns being not merely observers, but team members who take responsibility in real projects and make contributions. We believe that young people who experience Akkim culture and in whom we invest for development will add value to both our company and the sector in the future."

Active roles in real projects
Akkim Good Future internship programme offers undergraduate and graduate students from different faculties and departments of universities 8 months of real work experience, 3 days per week. The programme provides interns with training programmes, mentorship support, project-based work and opportunities to learn about working life, aiming to develop young people's talents and help them gain professional experience. Interns get to know Akkim's business culture closely while taking active roles in real projects, gaining the opportunity to shape their career journey.
