Akcoat Achieves International First
Akcoat signed the CEO Water Mandate declaration under the United Nations Global Compact initiative. Akcoat became the first Turkish chemical company to achieve this milestone.

Akcoat supports international water protection policy
Akcoat, which operates production facilities in Turkey and Spain manufacturing five main product groups—enamels, ceramics, non-stick decorative coatings, pigments and glass coatings—added another step to its sustainability efforts. The company became the first Turkish chemical company to sign the CEO Water Mandate declaration under the United Nations Global Compact initiative, which was prepared to provide solutions to the global water crisis. Veysi Küçük, General Manager of Akcoat, stated that in line with sustainable development objectives, they have begun establishing water policies according to the criteria set out by the Water Mandate initiative and implementing the necessary steps. Küçük said, "In parallel with the sustainability approach of Akkök Holding, one of Turkey's most established industrial enterprises under whose roof we operate, we prioritize creating environmental value.
