Ahed's Product Group Offers Specialized Solutions for Infrastructure Projects
AHED Water-Stop Bands are produced at our factory by processing a mixture of PVC resin with various catalysts, stabilizers, colorants, hardeners and plasticizers under suitable temperature and pressure, and shaping it in extruders.
AHED Water Retention Tapes are manufactured at our facility through processing a mixture containing PVC resin with various catalysts, stabilizers, dyes, hardeners, and plasticizers under appropriate temperature and pressure, then formed in extruders.
Applications
Joints must be left at certain points in reinforced concrete structures. Expansion joints need to be provided in buildings to prevent deformation caused by volume reduction when cement curing is complete from damaging the structure. Joints arranged perpendicular to compressive stresses where concrete pouring is done in sections are called construction joints. Joints arranged in structures due to ground movements are called contraction joints. For these reasons, AHED Water Retention Tapes are used to prevent deformations that may occur in structures and to ensure water impermeability in these areas. Dams, Tunnels, Regulators, Water tanks, Treatment plants, Swimming pools, Channels, Bridges, Metros, Sewage systems, Irrigation channels, Wharves, Conveyance tunnels, Hydroelectric power projects, Viaducts, Retaining walls, Floor slabs and foundations on ground, Industrial foundations.Properties
• Prevents water seepage from concrete joints. • Recyclable, therefore does not harm the environment. • Resistant to temperatures of -40 to +70 degrees Celsius. • End points are joined at connection locations using a special welding machine. • Prevents corrosion, resistant to aging. • Long-lasting. • Class E flammability rating. • High tensile and elongation strength.Geokomposite
Geokomposite is manufactured from polypropylene. It is primarily used in highway, railway, soft ground reinforcement and slope protection projects, including soil reinforcement, earth fill stabilization and drainage applications.Applications
• Earth fill stabilization, • Subgrade stabilization, • Slope reinforcement, • Base reinforcement, • Drainage. Product Properties: • High strength, low creep materials. • Resistant to chemicals, particularly acids and sulfates. • Minimally affected by adverse application conditions. • Load carrying capacities can be increased up to 160 kN/m when required. • UV resistant.Geotextile
AHED Geotextile is a permeable textile product used as a felt base in soil, rock and earth materials. It is manufactured from polyester.Product Properties
The main characteristic of AHED Geotextile is its continuous surface used to separate two different soil types. The fiber-containing structure of geotextile enables distribution of concentrated forces. Additionally, it resists tensile forces distributed within the soil mass and serves as a reinforcement element. Due to its filter properties, geotextile can be used for contamination control purposes. While preventing passage of solid particles, it remains sufficiently permeable to liquids (water) and gases (air). Under certain conditions, these products can carry significant amounts of water along their surface and therefore can function as a drainage element. In short, geotextile has functions at both hydraulic and mechanical levels. Its basic functions are: 1 - Drainage, 2 - Filtration, 3 - Separation, 4 - Protection, 5 - Reinforcement.Applications
• In tunnels, • In draining groundwater, • In places where puncturing of insulation material is not desired, • In slope preparation, • Used with its separation property to prevent two materials from contacting each other.Gallery
