Teknopark İstanbul hosted its 10th edition of the 'Open Door: Meeting the Business World' event, where 7 robotics-focused startups operating at the technopark presented their projects to potential investors and representatives from the business world.
Teknopark İstanbul, one of Turkey's largest supporters of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, regularly organizes events that bring entrepreneurs together with investors and leading companies from the business world, contributing to the commercialization of projects, the scaling of sales, and the development of new initiatives.
For this purpose, Teknopark İstanbul, through its incubation center Cube Incubation, traditionally organizes 'Open Door: Meeting the Business World' events and held the 10th edition of these gatherings with a focus on robotics technologies.
Laying the groundwork for new business partnerships
The 10th Open Door event held at Cube Incubation began with opening remarks by Board Chairman Prof. Dr. Metin Yerebakan. Teknopark İstanbul General Director Bilal Topçu emphasized in his speech that the innovative collaboration models on display at the event are of great importance for the development of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, stating: "These events serve as a bridge between our startups and the business world. Our entrepreneurs have the opportunity to present their projects to major institutions such as TÜBİTAK, THY Teknik and ASELSAN. In this way, the groundwork is laid for the formation of new business partnerships." Supporting entrepreneurs Teknopark İstanbul will support startups through a venture capital investment fund it will establish, thereby increasing the number of entrepreneurs in the coming period. The Teknopark İstanbul startups that showcased their projects at the 'Open Door: Meeting the Business World' event are: • Bottobo Robotics: Working on hardware and software solutions focused on autonomous mobile robots. • Remora Teknoloji: Developing robotics systems projects on underwater vessel cleaning systems. • Pi Robotik: Working in the fields of robotic automation, machine vision and artificial intelligence. • Arı Drones: Developing a research drone with indicators and camera technology. • Ozztech: Developing software in the field of cybersecurity. • Robo: Providing services in industrial automation to many sectors, particularly the automotive sector. • Sanlab: Developing simulation software and educational technologies in the robotics field.Advertisement
