"Open Door: Meeting with the Business World" on 29 November

Teknopark İstanbul's eight health and biotechnology-focused startups continue their work in the incubator and are meeting with investors and corporate representatives at the "Open Door: Meeting the Business World" event. The seventh entrepreneur-investor and company meeting organized through Cube Incubation, the incubator centre of Teknopark İstanbul, one of Turkey's largest supporters of the entrepreneurship ecosystem, will take place on Tuesday, 29 November 2022. With the "Open Door: Meeting the Business World" event, Teknopark İstanbul will give eight health and biotechnology-focused entrepreneurs, to which it provides both infrastructure and financial support, the opportunity to establish new partnerships to bring their projects to life.

Face-to-face meeting opportunity with investors

At the Open Door event to be held at Cube Incubation, Teknopark İstanbul's incubator in Kurtköy, Istanbul, strong institutions and companies will have the opportunity to get to know health and biotechnology-focused startups closely. At the entrepreneur-investor and company meeting, which provides grounds for the formation of new partnerships, entrepreneurs will present their projects and products face-to-face to investors and corporate representatives.

● Activebioworks: Working on the creation of an active complex with high antioxidant capacity through biotechnological advanced recycling methods from Isparta damask rose (rosa damascena) waste. ● Bloocell: Working on the world's first "artificial bone" project in the field of tissue regeneration gains from standard bone grafting to tissue engineering in applications such as orthopedic, dental, plastic and reconstructive surgery in bone-related injuries. ● Kamlançu: Developing a modular single photon detection system. ● İlko İlaç: Conducting studies on biotechnological drug development. ● Nanosilver: Developing different technological applications with nano silver. ● OMIC-A: Developing "OMICA-Skin / Artificial Skin," the first domestic animal-free test platform compliant with OECD 439 dermal irritation protocol. ● RS Research: Continuing work with the objective of developing drug candidates that can increase the effectiveness of chemotherapy while reducing its side effects. ● Umayana: Conducting studies on the development of mucosal and topical wound formulations.
