Carbon Heroes to Be Announced

Climate Finance to Be Addressed

The Istanbul Carbon Summit, held for the fifth time this year under the auspices of ITÜ by the Association for Sustainable Production and Consumption (SÜT-D), will take place on 26 April 2018. This year's theme will focus on climate finance.

Turkey's industry will gather with public authorities, local governments, academia, the business sector, banks, financial institutions, civil society organizations, academia and youth to address climate change challenges.

Low-Carbon Heroes to Be Honored

At the summit, institutions and companies that reduce greenhouse gas emissions and make sustainability a core principle will be honored. The winners of the Low-Carbon Heroes Awards, with 69 projects nominated, will be announced on 26 April.

Young Carbon Heroes to Add Color

Elementary school students will take the stage with performances to call for action on global warming. Young Carbon Heroes will remind everyone that fighting climate change is a responsibility for all ages.
