34. 34th National Chemistry Congress to Take Place in Yalova

The 34th National Chemistry Congress, organized by the Turkish Chemical Society, will be held between 1-6 September at Yalova University.

"Chemistry: Everything We Have"

The congress, for which Yalova University and Hayat Kimya are serving on the organizing committee, is expected to attract over 400 academics. This year's congress is being held under the slogan "Chemistry: Everything We Have". Rector Prof. Dr. Suat Cebeci, who serves as Honorary President of the congress, emphasized that they have always supported academic and scientific work. Cebeci expressed their expectation of strong attendance at the congress, which will demonstrate a fine example of university-industry cooperation. Congress President, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Jülide Hızal Yücesoy, stated that they aim to bring together experienced and young chemists. Yücesoy explained that participants will be able to publish their work in one of five designated journals. Yücesoy announced that a free workshop on fundamental chemistry topics for graduate students will also be organized on the first day of the congress. Congress Co-President and Hayat Kimya Consumer Group Vice President Dr. Fikret Koç highlighted the importance of the congress in terms of approaching problems from different angles and producing solutions. Honorary President of the Congress and Turkish Chemical Society President Prof. Dr. Bahattin Yalçın thanked the organizing partners and said, "I hope this will be a congress that produces very good and successful outcomes and will have lasting effects in the periods to come."
