Human-Machine Collaboration to Deepen in 2026

Cerebrum Tech, one of Türkiye's leading technology companies, shared its assessment of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem in 2025 and its projections for 2026. 2025 was a year in which artificial intelligence became central to business processes. In 2026, this technology is expected to scale up and take human-machine collaboration to a more strategic level.

Cerebrum Tech, a leading Turkish technology company, shared its assessments of the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem for 2025 and its forecasts for 2026. 2025 was a year in which artificial intelligence became central to business processes. In 2026, this technology is expected to scale and take human-machine collaboration to a more strategic level.

Throughout the past year, we witnessed artificial intelligence transition from being merely a tool that automates tasks to becoming an element that enhances human capabilities, actively participates in decision-making processes, and shapes corporate strategies. Research shows that global AI spending reached 1.5 trillion dollars in 2025, with 88 percent of companies using artificial intelligence in at least one business function.

Three Main Trends of 2025 The three major trends that emerged during this period were:
1. Rise of Autonomous Agents: Autonomous agents, taking on many critical tasks from price optimization to customer relationship management, delivered productivity increases of between 3 and 5 percent and created business growth potential of up to 10 percent. According to Gartner, by 2028 it is expected that 15 percent of daily business decisions and 33 percent of enterprise software applications will be managed by autonomous agents.

2. Operational Integration: Artificial intelligence has become an integral part of core business operations from marketing and sales to supply chain. Particularly in areas such as customer service, personalized marketing and IT management, the use of artificial intelligence became widespread. Thanks to agentic AI, customer service transaction times saw drops of up to 80 percent, while Fortune 250 companies increased their campaign development and execution speeds by up to 15 times.

3. Responsible and Ethical Use: As the technology became more widespread, data governance, transparency and accountability issues gained priority. The sector demonstrated strong resolve in building human-centered and trustworthy systems.

2026 Expectations: Scaling, Supercomputing and Strategic Collaboration
According to Cerebrum Tech's analysis, 2026 will be a year in which artificial intelligence scales further and becomes a fundamental infrastructure of the business world. The major trends expected to emerge this year are:

Supercomputing Platforms: Hybrid computing architectures combining CPUs, GPUs and specialized AI chips will set new performance standards for big data analytics and complex artificial intelligence models.

AI-Focused Software Development: Software will be equipped with artificial intelligence capabilities from the ground up. This will enable smaller, more agile teams to develop far more complex applications in record times.

Artificial Intelligence Agents as Digital Team Members: Autonomous agents will conduct multi-step processes independently, freeing employees from routine tasks and directing them toward more strategic areas.

Strategic Human-Artificial Intelligence Collaboration: No matter how advanced the technology becomes, the human role will remain critical. Human oversight, governance and contextual reasoning will continue to be key factors for artificial intelligence success.

Artificial Intelligence Literacy: In 2025, there was a sevenfold increase in job postings seeking the skill of using artificial intelligence tools. In 2026, this competency will become a fundamental requirement for all employees.

"We Develop Technology for Humans, Together with Humans"
In assessments on the subject, Cerebrum Tech CEO Mustafa Furkan Örs underscored the importance of the human factor in the future of artificial intelligence:

"2025 was a year in which artificial intelligence transitioned from being an experimental technology for organizations to becoming a technology that produces operational and scalable results. As Cerebrum Tech, with products such as Cere Insight and Cere LLM that we have developed, we enable our customers to keep humans always at the center of the process while automating their complex business workflows. In 2026, our focus will be on developing artificial intelligence products that can be integrated into real business processes, used safely at the enterprise scale, and can enhance the productivity of people. We are excited to sign new ideas and deeper collaborations with our solutions that bring intelligence and empathy together in the period ahead."
