10th National Analytical Chemistry Congress to be held in Muğla

Held biennially since 2002, the National Analytical Chemistry Congress has become a prestigious gathering among all academics and researchers working in the field of analytical chemistry. The 10th edition is being organized in Muğla. Hosted by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, the congress is being held at the Atatürk Cultural Centre halls of Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University from 8-11 September 2022. It brings together scientists conducting research in analytical chemistry, postgraduate students in the field, different disciplines that use analytical chemistry as a tool, and chemical production sectors for knowledge sharing.

Mehmet Öztürk, Professor at the Faculty of Science at Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University, made the following remarks on the subject:

"We are holding the 10th Analytical Chemistry Congress between the 8th and 11th this year. We have incorporated the 'Industry Speaks' workshop into this Analytical Chemistry Congress. In the Industry Speaks workshop, we are trying to find solutions to the sector's problems and concerns together with the academics we have invited. We will also hold this industry workshop, which we believe will enable our young researchers to adapt the knowledge they learn in academia to industry. We held the chemometrics workshop yesterday. Chemometrics is a method where the industry's results, which cannot be seen with the naked eye, are evaluated by instruments or computer programs and then made visible to the human eye. Through both the chemometrics workshop and the Industry Speaks workshop, we have tried to strengthen the triangle of our sector, students and academics by integrating them into the national chemistry congress. In this regard, we believe that these activities will continue in the subsequent congresses."
