Enis Kökeş Appointed Deputy General Manager of Purchasing at Şişecam

Enis Kökeş has been appointed to the position of Assistant General Manager of Procurement at Şişecam. Kökeş will manage Şişecam's procurement activities—one of the world's five largest manufacturers in its sectors—with a comprehensive and integrated approach encompassing strategy, performance and risk management.

Enis Kökeş began his professional career in 1997 at Maersk in customer coordination and sales roles. Following his postgraduate education, he joined Arçelik's procurement function in 2004. From 2011, Kökeş took on procurement leadership responsibilities across different material categories. In 2015, he was appointed to the position of Raw Materials Procurement Director. In 2021, he was brought into the role of Procurement Director at Arçelik-Hitachi and worked in Bangkok. As of April 2024, he took on the position of Vice President of Procurement at Milan-based Beko Europe B.V. Enis Kökeş commenced his role as Assistant General Manager of Procurement at Şişecam on 16 February 2026.

Enis Kökeş completed his undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering at Yıldız Technical University in 1997 and his postgraduate degree in International Business Management at Otto-von-Guericke University in Germany in 2003. With over 20 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management and senior-level leadership experience in managing supplier networks and operations at international scale, Kökeş will lead the procurement function in line with the company's sustainable growth objectives and contribute to the creation of a value-generating and agile ecosystem.
